My Story
Thank you for visiting my Scentsy page, I am honored to have you here. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Missy and I am from central Minnesota, I am married and my husband and I were blessed with four children ages 20 - 3. Needless to say my life is very busy. I also work full-time outside of the home as well as work my Scentsy business. I joined Scentsy in September 0f 2015. I had used after receiving a warmer and some wax as a gift. I was in love but I didn't take the plunge for awhile. When I ran out of my gifted wax I tried the off-brand warmers and wax, but they just didn't do it for me like Scentsy did. Then an old friend had invited me to a Facebook Scentsy party, she had just joined and it was her launch party. I had been searching out Scentsy for several months at this point but never did anything about it, not even a purchase. Well once I accepted the invite to the party I was hooked, I had my purchases all ready to go in my mind, and then there was this post, a post about joining Scentsy as an Independent Consultant. What??? Join Scentsy, I admit I laughed to myself a little but still i looked further into the details. OK!!! Sure why not give it a whirl, I will do iut for the discount and the kit with all the fabulous testers, so I hit the button and I joined. My kit came and oh my heavens was it wonderful. Now I will be honest at this point I was still only intending to "get a discount". Then something happened, I started sharing and putting it out there that I was a consultant. I hosted a facebook launch party and well it was pretty much a fail, but then after a little time people started to contact me wanting Scentsy, wanting to host parties. Was this real? Was it really this easy? From that moment on it was all a shift, Scentsy became a passion and the need to share the amazing products was strong. My first year went by an I did much better than I ever imagined I would and I had found a great group of people besides just selling Scentsy. New relationships were formed and I was gaining confidence I never new I had, I mean really I did home parties! I was never really one for talking in front of a group of people let alone entertaining them and peaking their interest, but this was fun, I enjoyed talking about the product. So my first anniversary came up and I was still selling, still do parties but I did not have a team, and then a past host who I met through Facebook decided she too wanted to take the pludge. There is was I had my first team member and was promoted to certified consultant just after my anniversary date.
So here we are 1.5 years in and still loving every moment. I have attended a couple Scentsy events and got to be part of the Scentsy Spirit. I still have goals to crush, but think back I was only doing the to "get the discount"
